Tengo Time

1. Scope

These terms apply to the use of Tengo Time, available at tengotime.com, offered by Tobias Nawa, Hummelweg 22, 82178 Puchheim, Germany.

2. The service

Tengo Time is a timer that runs in the browser. Using it is free and requires neither an account nor a sign-in. No contract for a service comes about through it.

3. Availability

There is no entitlement to constant availability. Operation may be restricted, changed or discontinued at any time.

4. Your data stays with you

Tasks, times and settings are stored in your browser alone and are not transmitted to us. Backing them up is therefore yours to do: we have no copy and can restore nothing.

Browsers may delete local data on their own — Safari, for instance, after seven days without the site being used. Adding the site to your home screen takes it out of that; at present that is the only way around it. There is no export function.

5. Use

The site may not be used in a way that disrupts its operation or breaks applicable law. Rights in the design, the text and the source code remain with the provider.

6. Liability

For a free offering we are liable only for intent and gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health. In particular, no liability is accepted for missed appointments or lost local data. Mandatory statutory claims remain unaffected.

7. Paid features

There are none at present. If any are introduced, separate terms will apply to them, together with a notice of the right of withdrawal, shown before the purchase; those terms will also say who the contract of sale is concluded with.

8. Applicable law

German law applies. As against consumers this holds only in so far as it does not deprive them of mandatory protective provisions of the state in which they are resident.
